Alesi Surgical the medical device company developing novel technologies to enhance outcomes in minimally invasive surgery, announced the appointment of Marcus Dyer as International Sales and Marketing Manager.
Marcus has over 15 years’ experience in medical device sales, most recently working for Mediplus Ltd, where he was Business Development Manager for the EMEA. Prior that he was at Boston Scientific, where he held a succession of appointments over nine years, rising from Territory Manager to Business Development Manager for Urology and Women’s Health.
The appointment follows a consolidation of global operations for Alesi Surgical, which was formed in 2009 as a spin-out from the Welsh Institute for Minimal Access Therapy, the leading centre for surgical training in the UK.
The company’s lead product is Ultravision™, which was developed from concept to CE marked device and launched in 2014. Ultravision is designed to deliver rapid and continuous resolution of surgical smoke, which accumulates in the abdominal cavity during laparoscopic procedures. Alesi Surgical is also active in Research & Development, and has a pipeline of innovative, needs-driven, surgical technologies.
