Ultravision™ in use

Ultravision™ can be used in laparoscopic or robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery.

It has been evaluated in a range of procedures and is regularly used by gynaecologists, urologists, colorectal and upper gastrointestinal surgeons.

Clinical assessments have rated the visual clarity as “good” or “excellent” and laparoscopic surgeons consistently report they are “satisfied” or “highly satisfied” with Ultravision™.*

Gynaecology

When performing total laparoscopic hysterectomy at low pressure using Ultravision, many of my patients can go home on the same day, without requiring an overnight stay... Many of my patients have high BMI and I believe that this is truly beneficial for them, both in recovery and for their long-term health.

Dr. Ramon Yera,
Minimally Invasive GYN Surgeon at Kaiser Permanente, US

Ultravision™ is used in gynaecological procedures including:

  • Endometriosis
  • Hysterectomy and assisted vaginal hysterectomy
  • Bilateral and unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy
  • Lap cystectomy
  • Oophorectomy

Urology

Ultravision significantly improves visibility throughout procedures and minimises the need to clean the camera. It also minimises CO2 usage due to no longer having to vent (smoke) into the operating theatre

Professor Richard Hindley, Consultant Urologist
Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital

Ultravision™ is used in urological procedures including:

  • Right, left, partial and radical nephrectomy
  • Pyeloplasty and retrograde pyelopasty
  • Prostatectomy
  • Bladder resection

Gastrointestinal & Colorectal

The ability to work at low CO2 pressure, flow and total volume is unique. I strongly believe this helps my patients recover from laparoscopic surgery faster and with less pain medication than I used previously. This is particularly useful in my bariatric cases.

Dr. Jin S. Yoo
General, Bariatric and Laparoscopic Surgeon
Duke University Hospital

Ultravision™ is used in gastrointestinal & colorectal procedures including:

  • Sigmoid and sub-total colectomy
  • Anterior resection
  • Stoma creation
  • Rectopexy
  • Ileo-rectal anastomosis
  • Cholecystectomy
  • Liver resection
  • Gastrectomy
  • Nissen Fundoplication
  • Oesophagectomy/ Ivor Lewis
